I tried to watch your tutorial video on how to use x mod installer, and it seems as if either your video capture program or the computer you were working on is frozen through the better part of the tutorial. You can view the first step then the rest of the video you can hear typing and clicking but nothing changes in the video untill the very end. I'm quite sure I can figure it out myself, but it would be much easier and probably less grief if you could post a new tutorial please?

BTW awesome job with this program!

Its a known issue, I got to know that when I tested it first time over the internet but at local network it was working smooth. And I didn't know it will be jammed on using via internet. Since it took so much time to make that type of thing, I didn't bother to implement a better way to stream video as its a broadband speed problem. But, yesterday, I actually found an advanced way of streaming and it will be up in few days.

Off-Topic : I replied you in first place, since the emails' notifications are limited coded so you wouldn't have receive any. It will be up soon as well

Yea I apologize about the double post my bad.

I had a few other questions though. In the read me file it says it can handle 1.9 GB per file and 8191 PB data. What is PB data?

I'd like to make mod packs for each area of the game, ie. clothing, cars, weapons, buildings....etc. It takes awhile to compose them, but makes modding a snap if you have to do a clean install.

How well does it handle importing several files? With GTA SA I used SAMI to install 30-40 cars at once, 80 or so outfits and other player mods, and other different packs I had composed sometimes it went flawlessly other times it would skip some of the files.

Is there a way to select and add multiple files at once in mod packer or does each have to be added individually?

Is it also possible to do multiple text edits to for example the handling.dat file? SAMI would not allow you to edit text files so I had to do each individually and include the file in my SAMI mod pack after I finished adding all my mods. It took me probably 6 weeks or so to totally mod out SA. I'm really hoping your program will save me a lot of time with GTA IV and if it works well I will convert all my SA mods collection over :)

What do you mean ?

It can handle each and every files smoothly...don't worry about it

Yes, simply select multiple files when adding

Is it also possible to do multiple text edits to for example the handling.dat file?

Sure it does, you can even edit a single text file 999999 or more times using XMI

Note : Make sure you're using lastest version of XMI that is 1.5.1 by this date.
